Corporate Digital VideoThis streaming video began as a corporate capabilities and product brochure designed by Dynamic Digital Advertising for the Wm. A Schmidt Company in 1996 and is another great example of cross-purposed digital multi-media. DDA suggested using 3D models in the brochure instead of photography for several reasons. The vessels and tanks that Wm. A Schmidt manufactures and needed to feature are enormous, dirty and spread all over the world. DDA's 3D modeling skills offered the perfect solution. As an added benefit, DDA's 3D models were the perfect foundation for future marketing projects commissioned by Wm. A Schmidt. The streaming video shown here also has a full VHS corporate video version that is used at trade shows. The 3D models were used again in 2001 when DDA was asked to design Wm. A Schmidt's new Internet website. One set of 3D models created for a corporate brochure, utilized for a VHS video tape, streaming video and an internet website. That may be the very definition of cross-purposed digital advertising and multimedia. |
